• My love affair with creating jewelry began in 1996. After a 25-year business career, I started taking jewelry-making classes at a community art center in Atlanta. The next year I enrolled in the art department at Georgia State University, where I spent three years becoming totally addicted to art in general and jewelry design in particular.
In 2001 my husband and I moved to the beautiful western North Carolina mountains. The next year, a fellow jewelry artist invited me to share space in a downtown Asheville gallery. This marked the beginning of my career as a professional jewelry artist.
